The board of directors of a British plc wanted to replace their turbo-prop work horse for a shiny new jet. The Finance Director asked us to compare costings of the existing unit against other options and also to review their flight operations centre. Client was advised to keep the turbo-prop.
An international oil exploration and production company was required by the terms of contract to buy its air transport lift from the host country's own carrier. Client wanted a complete quality assessment of all aspects of the airline, its spares inventory and engineering, flight safety standards, etc. We made suggestions in various areas, all of which were accepted, and now maintain a rolling multi-departmental audit.
A German environmental survey firm needed to assess the impact of a large wind farm on a esturial waters in a particularly inhospitable part of eastern Europe by, amongst other issues, conducting counts of birdlife during different seasons and differing distances from the coast both before, during and after the build. We supplied an appropriate aircraft, air and ground crews, fuel and on-site engineering facilities along with other ancilliary facilities to enable the client's teams maximum air time and effectiveness. The project is on-going.
